We have decided to replace our ageing Acura EL with... Drum roll please...

A 2008 Honda Fit!

(just like this, but blue)

She’s an LX model, with the 5 speed auto, and 93,000 miles on the clock. We got it for $4900 Canadian, or about $3800 USD, and we take possession in a few days.

If anyone has any questions, feel free to ask away. I’ve heard mostly good things about this car, so we’ll see how our experience goes.

In other news, if any Ottawa-area Oppos want to buy a 1998 Acura 1.6el with a crap transmission, let me know. $900 OBO.

Yeah that was an immediate concern. Thankfully, there are no signs of water damage, past or current, and it had been sitting in the rain for a few hours before we went to see it.

Thankfully, our minivan has not gotten lost. It does, however, serve to replace our old badge-engineered Acura.

My sister has a car that looks just like this (but different name - it’s a Jazz - and DIY gears). I was very impressed when I drove it.
